Connecting Women in Global Business |
Twenty businesswomen from thirteen countries had the opportunity to present their offerings to an audience of Canadian business people. In addition to pursuing business opportunities, the participants stated that one of the most positive outcomes of the mission was the opportunity to learn about doing business in Canada and networking with potential partners and collaborators. “Even in a little country like Malawi, it is possible to export services. This Bridges Across Borders website can connect you directly with 20 businesswomen from 13 countries covering a wide range of business and professional service sectors. In May 2007, leading businesswomen from around the world had the opportunity to network and discuss business opportunities for exporting their services to Canadian businesses. View the Participants page to review their profiles and to explore ways in which you can do business together. Also, take a few minutes to browse through the new "Sharing their Experiences" publication to see what they have to say about what they have learned and their plans going forward. |
